In this time of uncertainty, many people are concerned about making wills, powers of attorney and living wills.
At Guston & Guston, we recognize the anxiety this healthcare situation has created. While our office is generally closed to the public, we have created a plan to allow our clients to get their personal planning documents completed while keeping everyone safe in this period of social distancing.
Contact us at mail@gustonlaw.com.
We will send you an electronic intake form to complete and will work on drafting with you over the phone or by email.
When the documents have been completed to your satisfaction, we will set a time for you to come to our office. You will sign your documents in your car, while our notary and witnesses remain nearby at a safe distance. We will provide you with gloves and a pen to keep.
As the weather gets colder, we have set up a document signing station right inside the entry to our office where your documents can be signed without close contact with our staff.
Your documents will then be sealed by you in an envelope and we will hold them for the 3-5 days recommended by the CDC to “air out” paper before we complete the package and return them to you by mail.
At Guston & Guston our goal is to continue to provide needed legal services while keeping you and our staff safe.
